Pearl Harbor timeline (Navy)

Just seeking reassurance that I'm not crazy and this is normal in terms of "timelines". I know that there's no one timeline to base my expectations off of but it seems like my experience has been hitting a lot of speedbumps so early on.

1st c&p exam 17Mar2025
Last c&p exam rescheduled twice from 21Apr2025 to 19May2025
Peblo received NARSUM and forwarded it to MEB doctor for signature 29May2025
Currently waiting for NARSUM to be returned so I can sign off on it before it goes to PEB. Peblo said I should've received it last week but its still stuck with the doctor.

I'm mostly upset because my appointments took so long do to the same place having an issue with the PFT machine not working and when I asked if I could go somewhere else my msc said they would "bury my case" at the bottom for trying to skip the line(?) I'm trying to remain optimistic and understand this is all part of the process but its just frustrating, lots of other little reschedules and errors happened in between my first and last c&p and needing to repeat a test for them. Recently was told someone else in my command started the IDES process after me and is already done and has a separation date, obviously everyone's situation is different but it didnt make me any happier.

You're not crazy. The timeline you're dealing with and all the frustrating delays in the IDES process are,very common. This is the pretty normal when it comes to how the VA and DoD work together. You're about 3 to 4 months in, and you've already finished most of the hard work at the beginning. The good news is that your NARSUM is now waiting for a doctor’s signature, which means you're almost ready to move into the Informal PEB phase. That’s the part of the process where things usually start picking up again.
You're dealing with a complicated and sometimes slow system that can make it feel like you're stuck. But based on where you are saying, you're getting close to the next step and that’s a good sign.

Thank you I had no idea how difficult this process would be mentally, it’s like your life is on hold between all the important mile stones and you’re just trying to pass the time. Still waiting on my NARSUM just taking it day by day.
