PDBR taking long

I applied for PDBR in Oct 2013. They received my application in Nov and received my vA records in Nov as well. But they have not received my Navy records yet. I call every 2 weeks and nothing yet. They tell me the Navy records are not on disk so they have to find my file and what not. So what should I do about getting my records to get the process along?

jshine23,

I am in the same spot your are in. I submitted my application in September 2013. I received a letter October 9, 2013 stating they receivied my application. They were placing it on hold in case I decided to go to the BCMR. I decided not to as my VA C&P was conducted within 6 months of my separation and rated me on same conditions as the PEB but at 50% for CPAP use. I have not heard anything since.

I would like to call and check the status but do not have the number. Do you mind posting the number here? Thanks. Any help from others on the site will be greatly appreciated.

Which branch were you in? I was Navy. They told me Navy records were not on disk, they had to get hard copies which is why it is taking so long. The number is 210 565 3256. They don't always answer. But if you get the lady she is real helpfully. Good Luck

I was in the Army. Not sure if they were electronic or hard records. I know prior to separation I was told that medical records would be stored in both forums. Thanks for the number!
