I recently contacted the PDBR via email and they stated that my case has been adjudicated and was being sent to the Air Force for them to review. Will I be notified via regular mail or do they send mail certified?
Also, does anyone have any contact numbers to check status?

Don't know the answer to that question but in the same boat, I am 2015-024XX

My theory is cases and sent and reviewed in order of receipt. Further review or records gathering knocks you back. Once in a service branch hands, from everything I've read, it's pretty straight forward. A short wait compared to the whole process.

I think we will just have to be a little patient - I was really just wondering if the notification arrives in the regular mail or certified mail. Good Luck! Let me know if you hear something.
 
The letters the Army sends are First-Class mail. I do not know how the other branches send them.

Here are some numbers I found on google for the Air Force that may help you. Be prepared to tell your story several times. And be sure to remember your manners as you don't want to end up at the bottom of the pile:)

AF needs to airdrop that shit in my backyard with a fancy new F35 that's so awesome we don't need an A-10 anymore, or we do need the A-10 (says ground combat troops), oh no we don't (says AF Generals on the take), oh yes you do have to keep the A-10 (says ISIS)....just saying. Hell of a segway, boom (mic drop)

I guess my biggest concern is I don't see my docket, PB-2015-00XXX, posted. I have not been to concerned but April will be 2 years. This is the first time I have seen Phone #s thanks.
 
It is typically many months between a decision being made and the decision being posted on the website. You typically will receive notification prior to it being uploaded to website. Hope this helps!
