Sir,

Your case is currently being processed in preparation for review and adjudication, and it will likely be several more months before it is adjudicated. Your case will be adjudicated in turn, in the order that it was received from the Intake Unit after your records were collected and processed. Once adjudicated, it will go through final PDBR processing which includes an administrative review and PDBR signature. When completed, our recommendation will be sent to the Air Force for their determination. Once the Air Force receives our recommendation and makes their determination, they will contact you via letter with their final decision.

You can e-mail us at this address (usaf.pentagon.saf-mr.mbx.pdbrpa@mail.mil) at any time to check the status of your case, but we recommend checking about every four months or so.

Very Respectfully,

Physical Disability Board of Review

I have stalked this forum for awhile now, figure it was time to join the line. I am guessing their is a huge backlog like the VA. Sucks to be on the starting stage still, after all this time.

Thank u very helpful!!!

Sounds like you have a wait, my records gathering period was around 6 mos and that was with me turning in a much more thorough and detailed accounting of records that the VA has not previously had access to.

I prefer not to disclose anything to them except in extenuating circumstances like the opportunity to be evaluated impartially for medical retirement. I guess there is an information exchange between PDBR & VA but I don't know much about it.

As far as I can tell what happens is you send in your paperwork, then magically through government processes, pixie dust is eventually sprinkled on your case file then POOF out of the blue you either get a love letter or a letter from your branch saying we don't love you, please suck an egg and we are not sorry for getting your hopes up;)
