PCM not initating MEB?

Hello, Im not really sure I understand all of this. I feel as if my PCM feels that I am trying to scam the system. I'm almost at the end of my enlistment but was going to try an extend or go ARC but now with these diagnoises of Fibromyalgia, Tension Headaches, Idopathic Hypersomnia, skeletons in the closet that im letting out now from my past deployment. Im not sure if I will be allowed to continue my duty as a service member. Even as I type this my elbows feel as if they are going to explode. I have been dealing with this since 2015 but my PCM hasnt been taking me serious because I pushed on through things. Which I only did these things under the old air force thought which was mission first, mission last, and if weve got a chance more mission. Anyone got advice? I know im not entitled to anything just hoping for some advice really.

You said your PCM, but you said skeletons in your closet, so I'm wondering if you have a mental health concern that you are also grappling to deal with? If so, you may want to head to mental health to get the help you need.

With headaches unless you are missing days of work, going to the ER migraines are not a disqualifying condition per L19 of the medical standards directory. I've had migraines since 2011 and I've always pushed through them. What a mistake that was. Because I only missed 1 day of work in the last calendar year, even going so far as to puke on the neurologist shoes while she was doing my exam, they still said its not unfitting.

If you are not satisfied with the health care you are getting from your PCM, you do have the right to change providers. However, if you change providers don't expect the next one to just instantly initiate a MEB. In fact, you shouldn't ever want them to initiate a MEB, your goal should be full and total rehabilitation.

Of course thats my main thing to deal with but as it seems they dont have that in mind. I decided to push through this fibromyalgia pain for a while til its gotten to this point where I cam ever get a glass of water from a primo despenser without hurting terriblely. In senses of changing PCMs I have to get a commanders letter in order to do that wen't to patient advocacy to talk them about talking to her about her bash attitude that she has towards me. I just now started talking to mental health about my issues because they've gotten to a point that there not as easy to push away as they were. I actually am taking some sort of computerized test tomorrow to figure out some sort of understanding to my disorder. Fustrating not getting help...

Don't over think the psyche testing

Don't over think the psyche testing

Im pretty sure, I over thought it. It seems like I have over thought it all the time, the lady showed me my results from my Shipley from SERE. Scary to tell them what you really think about, I just get stressed telling them my real thoughts im not sure why.

I over think the testing as well. I have done MMPI tests and several times in my treatment, and the way I answer the questions make me almost impossible to score.

jahlon,

That's the thing though how do you answer it without making it seem like you aren't over the top? With many of my questions I said I greatly agreed. Makes me wonder what they are scoring this on or what statistics they have that rate this stuff. I'm just happy they are starting to take my case more serious, because to be truthful my condition physically and mentally is getting worse.

Honestly. You just answer it honestly.

My testing from 2015 at WPAFB literally says that scoring was nearly impossible but it indicated some things.

My testing from 2016 at Scott AFB basically says I've either had, or I'm about to have a psychotic break.

The MMPI is a very general map that's going to put the provider in the right area, but there are better tests they can use to further refine their diagnosis.
