Partial Dity/DPS/NTS/HHG Shipping Question

When doing a self counseling in DPS, do I need an endpoint address to have my HHG put in Non-Temporary storage? I want to have my HHG stored where I'm currently stationed and then have it shipped when I get a new address and decide where to live. I have retirement orders.

Also, when I finally do move, do I need to find any military base to submit my TMO paperwork to complete my move?

When you retire you have the option of storing your good for at government expense. It was 1 year when I retired. Check with TMO they can tell you the current time limit.
