P3 Whats next?

Today I just received my P3 Profile after being on a temp profile for over 7 months and a MEB is now initiated . My PCM was kinda vague on the process that I will be going through as far as my Medboard. Just looking for some help on the process. On the perm profile it states, I can do the Push ups and Sit ups, but I cannot do the run, swim bike or walk. Can they still give me a Record APFT?, or a APFT at all? I understand I have to wait for a second person to sign my perm profile, but what happens after that?

Since you can't run, bike, walk, or swim then NO you wont be having to do a APFT. But they can have you do push-ups and sit-ups because you are able to. SO if your unit leadership wants you to do PT within the limits of your profile and even do just those 2 events on a PT test then just go with it so you don't ruffle feathers thru this process.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT: Once your P3 gets its second signature your name will go to the PEBLO office and they will contact you to set up an appointment to come see them. The PEBLO is who you will work 80% thru. They will also get you with a VA MSC who will do your VA claims and get your appointments set up for those. After you have completed what they need and your C&P exams then you'll get a NARSUM ( summary of all your claims) once you sign that then it goes to the PEB for them to decide Fit or Unfit. If Unfit they (PEB) will send it to the VA for ratings and once complete the PEB will draft your 199 and send it to your PEBLO. Then you will agree or disagree with that. If agreed with you'll then just wait to hit the TRANSPOC list and finish clearing and your gone!

So prepare yourself for 4 to 6 months average of a process and try to not piss off your leadership while you are going thru this because you will have a lot of time just waiting once your packet goes to the PEB since that step till your clearing is the longest.
