I just want to confirm that once p&t means that there is no re-evaluation of the condition because it is permanent? Can one be immediately deemed permanent during the med board?

Yes PT means no more future exams. And you’ll have to get DOD to agree with PDRL so you won’t have any future exams due to TDRL/PDRL change later.

If you are placed on PDRL DoD will not change your ratings. If the VA uses the words permanent they will not under ordinary conditions change your ratings. It is possible to be found PDRL with temporary VA ratings.
