Good afternoon,

New to the thread and due to my condition this is pretty much my high right now on how to not get screwed over, good and bad thing i guess. I have seen much on the diagnosis of Other specified trauma and stress related disorder. All i know is my occupational impairment is severe(but i t see that word in the ratings) there is a lot of other stuff as well. Got a family and stuff to worry about even though my me board was just submitted still currently active duty. Any idea about severe?

How are we suppose to know? Please review the MH chart but without reviewing the examiner's opinion no one can know.

Gotchya I did before I wrote the post , nothing said severe occupational . Thats why I was just asking if the word severe meant anything to anyone. Couldn’t find forum link for someone just starting the process .

all I know is the code is F43.8 other specified severe stress I understand it’s broad but I see the keys words for ratings and don’t say severe so was just wondering , will post more when I have more details thank you

If you haven't been to an exam yet then you dont know if this is in the fitness stage then severe would most likely mean unfitting.

Gotchya , yeah zero exams yet just second limdu just ended and med board just initiated. Sorry for the broad message this is something totally new to me and was never in my vision. Thanks for your reply

Currently assigned VA exams 3rd party by QTC.
