Alright here is what I found out today. Husband signed da199 alittle over a week ago. today he called the PDA office. They told him they were done with his case and then said he should have his separation orders by now. He then went to the Peblo office and they told him that they have not got anything back from PDA yet. He then asked if there was anyway to check on it to make sure its not sitting on someones desk, they told him no, got mad and told him that he shouldn't have called PDA. Does anyone has any advise on what we could do? He did stop by transition office and they didn't have it either.
 
I would use the same technique one would use with customer service. Escalate the level of interaction by involving a supervisor. This can either be the PEB supervisor or it can be a concerned CSM at the unit if he has access to that route. The same questions asked to different people often yield much different results in that office in my experience.

As the orders are required for most of your outprocessing, the time that they are out that you don't have them in hand directly impacts your husband's separation. I'd be concerned enough at that point to make some noise, particularly if it draws attention to what in my opinion is a broken system.
 
Usually it takes your orders to get to the SM about 7 days prior to start of terminal leave/ETS date. Tell your husband to go to his ops office now and get a memo from the commander letting him turn in TA-50 without orders and with the expected seperation date on it. It will make out processing faster and smoother. (He can out process off post in 2 days easily, I have done it for a few soldiers in the last few years.) Once all his gear is turned in, they will clear his records so when he goes in all he has to do is wait a few minutes, get the stamp and walk out!
 
After I signed my DA 199 it took me 14 days to get my orders. My paperwork went to Ft Lewis also. Peblo does not control when you receive orders. APDA is the one who tell transition when to cut orders. I got 10 days of clearing and two days for transition.
 
husband got a memo from CO for jppso, took it to them and they told him that you cannot schedule a move until you have your orders, there is nothing besides orders that can get that done. I have read on here of people scheduling jppso before they get there orders. We need to leave here as soon as possible cause his school starts in the middle of august. How do they expect us to wait around for movers for two to three weeks after he gets his orders?
 
You guys may get priority on this, I would ask JPPSO for a little more clearification no how fast you can get HHG scheduled for pick up, anyone else deal with this recently on Lewis?​

I also was told yesterday to be ready for a call from Transpoc by the end of next week since I signed my paperwork on Monday. They also told me to expect orders by the end of the month too. Not sure about the truth of it, but I am planning on it anyways just to make sure I have no surprises. Dunno if PDRL gets treated differently than TDRL or Severence orders here on Lewis...​
 
Thats what I'm hoping for! We have already been waiting on orders for 1 and a half weeks with no call from Transpoc as of yet :/ We're really banking on him going to school and getting BAH when this is over, and if they make us miss his school date, not sure what we'll do.. I'm kinda shocked that theres no info on this on any of the forums, we can't be the only people trying to get out in time for something.

You might want to check with your PEBLO and make sure they sent your 199 in.. When my husband signed the guy said he was going to send it that day.. He went in a few days later to double check that it had been sent, the guy said he did.. Then we come to find out that they sat on it a week before sending to the PDA.. Guess its too hard to fax something.. Smh

I had Mrs. Leviene go over my stuff with me, she is really on point and will smash her Tech if it wasn't sent in yesterday. (She's my old PEBLO, and loved seeing me at the office.) They were also having issues with their fax last week, and was scanning really crappy so he may have been waiting on them to get the new fax/scanner in.

Any chance your husband can do college online for the time being until you get to where you are going? Have him contact the military rep at the college to see if it can be done.
 
He had a guy PEBLO.. Think theres only 2 working right now? Guess the fax being out is a good reason.. Although they shouldn't of lied about it lol :) He called PDA yesterday and they said give them 2 days to get it back.. So I'm hoping that maybe he can get orders by the end of this week or earl'y next week... But that might just be overly hopeful haha.

I hadn't thought of him doing it online.. He's going to a small school in the florida keys for a diving program, so not sure if that'll be a option :/

It won't hurt to try, especially for any degree/class requirements like math and so forth. It will just be an adjustment on the degree/class path... Make him call today House Hold 6! :p

I've been reading your threads for weeks. I got my VA ratings faxed to me from the VA because it was mailed out in June and I never got them. Apparently my PEBLO got them in June and the PEB recieved my ratings on 25 June. What do you think my timeline is for my 199?? My PEBLO has been on leave for two weeks and I'm SOO frustrated!
 
Also, where is it that you see the votes? I've looked on the ebenefits site which tells me about...um...nothing. I've called the VA hotline and spoken to maybe 2 geniune people who gave me decent responses. But nothing on votes from the PEB...

In our case it took I think 2 and a half weeks.
