the way my MSC explained it to me is the VA only pays in at least a full month. August will be your first "full month" so september 1st will be your first full month.you should get paid September 1st assuming you have your dd-214 uploaded to the VA and your all squared away
She also stands by that they pay ASAP but YMMV
