Officer promotions while on CBHCO

JFYI- I made a complaint to my State IG office about three weeks ago reference this.

Resolution is in my favor- The finding is based upon the fact that the PDES system is the only mechanism in the Army that determines ultimate fitness for duty. Until I am rated as "unfit" by the Army, the IG took the stand that I am promoteable. The packet is being processed at this time.

Hopefully this battle will help out some other Soldiers.

Congratulations, and also kudos for fighting for your rights! I would also make sure they date your promotion correctly (i.e., to before they messed up the processing of your case). This would likely take a BCMR application to accomplish, but it may result in a backdating of your promotion and also impact your ultimate compensation.
