Next phase help..

I was told that my VA claim was sent back to the PEB(D.C) for review of proposed ratings 30JUN14. My question is how long does it take for me to get a call about my rating from the peblo... I called the VA like 5 times and they wouldn't tell me anything about the proposed rating. What is the next thing that should be coming down the pipe and what to be on the look out for?

I am not sure what branch you are, but it can take a couple weeks to have the PEB review and write up the proposed form - in the Army its a DA-199 - and then send it down to your PEBLO, who has to then present it to you. You review the ratings and sign, go to a formal board, or ask for a reconsideration. It shouldn't be too long now. Hope it works in your favor

Yea that's what I thought about the time frame... I think now that I know that they have a rating the time it starting to get to me. But hope it all works out any tips or anything I should be lookin out for that should be given to me or anything like that.

When you get your proposed ratings, run them by legal to just make sure you aren't missing something. If you are happy - sign and move on. But do not accept anything that is not what you believe to be fair and in line with the regs - although a pain, it is much easier to fight to get it right now, rather than after you are out.

Indeed @mikejess88; a very well stated comment by @PsychOfficer in my opinion! ;)

As from an U.S. Army perspective, don't allow others to dictate your future while in the DoD IDES MEB/PEB process! That said, the total 618 calendar days within the DoD IDES process is my case-in-point!

To that extent, never default acceptance to potential injustice; fight then continue to fight some more until receipt of your well-earned and well-deserved military disability compensation benefits in my opinion for sure! Take care and enjoy life!

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

Best Wishes!
