New EAS question

I got my findings back 50%/90% TDRL on July 24th. The paperwork says 15-21 working days after receiving your findings is when your EAS will post on MOL. Does anyone know if this is 15-21 working days or counting the weekend? Im itching to get this over with, Can anyone speak from experience or got more info? Thanks.
 
government working days=week days (no weekends or holidays, similar to civilian business days)

Sorry it actually said 15-21 days, not working days. but i assume that still applies for government like you said.
 
I signed mine on the 13th and I'm still waiting on my EAS date to change. A friend of mine got his 20 days after signing. My admin shop Checked the unit diary and it's not in that either.
 
sweet thanks, quick question for anyone...its a little out of place but does the marine corps, dmo, or whoever pay for transportation like airplane tickets for my wife while i do the dity move when going on terminal?

It's treated like any other PCS.
 
So it is payed for? I was a boot, single with a high and tight coming from 29 palms to pendleton the last time i "PCS'd" haha
 
They are going to pay X number of dollars in per diem for you and family. Also, X number of dollars for dity move. It's then up to you how you spend it. I assume you no longer have that "hot n totty?"

Contact admin for your orders needed to go to PSD, DMO, etc. They will begin your dity paperwork and then you can follow up with HQMC on reimbursement. Unless you have a lot of time, the advances might not come in. The quicker you move on them, the more likely to receive payment in time. It can be stressful because your last pay could be "withheld" for a few weeks. Just be prepared for a crap shoot.
 
Well you know i do love my hot n tottys...that are trimmed a half inch above my ear. My hair looks about like my display picture right now haha. As for dmo, they wont start any paperwork till i get my orders, so basically im going to get screwed on time. Should be about 5 more days when my new EAS post!
 
Thanks for throwing that out there. It got me some questions answered. I went to s1 and asked if they could write me up web orders, i had to tell them my issue saying i was waiting for my EAS, so they called HQ Marine Corps and told him they haven't received the paperwork of me accepting my finding yet. Now i know it dont take more than 17 business days for mail to get from California to Washington. So I went to the peblo and asked what was going on and he said the PEB and HQ were talking about an issue with my paperwork? To me this sounds sketchy, I asked for the PEB number to hopefully get some more info somehow. I feel like im getting thrown around with bs answers because nobody really knows whats going on. oh wait, thats typical Marine Corps, I just thought HQ or PEB would be a little more organized about it.
