Nellis MEB timeline

I met with my PEBLO for the first time in the beginning of March. I wasn't able to get into to my VA MSC until April 27th. The earliest I could get in for my C&P appointments was in the middle of may. The results from those appointments were not available until June 9th. I signed the 618 on June 13th. My PEBLO told me that it is difficult to get in the VA here because it is pretty busy. I have been going through this MEB since September. Everything as been pretty slow up until these last two months. We only have one case manager here for everyone. The whole process felt like forever

Just curious on your timeline--it took about 2 months to get your c and p exams scheduled and sent to ipeb? That seems pretty long.
It was a long dang time indeed. LOL! I'm hoping the rest of my timeline from here on out goes quicker.

When I talked to the VA rep a few days ago, she told me once your ebenefits status said Pending Decision Approval that the ratings were done at the VA and you will be just waiting on the Air Force to do their part. It should be quick after the status changes because the Air Force just takes what the VA percentage was and makes it the same on AF Form 356. As soon as I signed for my ratings my PEBLO sent them back to AFPC to get my orders. They will be back next week.

I sure hope so. My PEBLO looked up the status in the peb system and it's shown no movement since they sent it to the VA. Not even that they got it back. I'm really hoping your msc is right!. Congrats on receiving your ratings! Hopefully your orders are a quick turn, too!

I ended up getting 20% DOD and 70% VA. Honestly a little higher than what I expected. Pretty much know that there's no fighting it. I'm just gonna take the Steve Miller's band advice and "take the money and run". I have a couple of really good jobs lined up and it'll be all good.

So I'm also at Nellis going through the MEB. I got the email from myPers on the 29th of June. I guess I'll have to start reaching out to my PEBLO a bit more often. Where on myPers can I check all of the info you guys are talking about?

When you get the email notifications from myPers, there are links in the emails that take you to the site and then there is more info about the step you are on. I got my orders on Monday with an official retirement date of October 28th. I got everything pretty fast and my PEBLO took pretty good care of me of getting everything done.

Congrats on the retirement date! Are you taking all of the PTDY and out processing time? Do you have a bunch of terminal leave? I only ask because that dates seems a ways out from where you are today.

My final out date is August 11th. The rest of the time is my terminal and permissive TDY leave. I had a lot saved up because I wasn't allowed to take leave for the last year and a half.

I sent you a PM. Please take a look when you get a minute. Thanks.
