Negative Leave Balance Question...

Okay, so I must have goofed bigtime when using up what leave I had before my separation date. My LES has a -4.0 leave balance.
My question is, if my official separation date is 26OCT, will I have accrued the 2.5 days of leave for September and October? If so, that will put me at a 0.5 balance.
The reason I ask is that I am putting in for my PTDY and am required to put my current leave balance on the form.
Will this delay my departure date of 25 September? Any help would be more than appreciated!!!

Math correction for you, you would have 1 accrued day at the end of October. Finance will pay you the basic pay for that one day in the end.
 
OK they will pay you for 1/2 day of basic pay, no biggie... Basically you sell 1/2 days...
 
Thanks so much for the info. I was afraid my commander would turn down my PTDY request because of the current negative leave balance. I tend to worry about everything, lol. One of the reasons I'm getting out ironically enough...haha!
 
Nah, just go over the math with your CoC to show that you would have a + amount in the end.
