Thank to everyone on this site. I waited 27 months to be returned to AD. Through the 27 months our bank account balance went to zero, because I could not work, we almost lost our house, and we spent thousands of dollars out of pocket for my care. My family took hundreds of hours off work as well. I was on AD > than 360 days when I requested MRP to MRP2 orders extension due to unresolved line of duty injuries to my CAARNG, MRNCO and I provided the regulations. My husband went to CAARNG, MG Haskins, with my LOD's noted the regulations and we alerted JFHQ COS, but no action. The action that came back was vindictive in nature and I was ordered to drill despite my treating providers plan of care and diabilities. By the time my request was correctly executed by the CAARNG the WTC denied my MRP2 request, claiming I met MRDP ( which I did not) and this came even with my Commanders approval letter stating Governor approved, but the request was denied. I filed an ETP through the WTC, that was approved but orders never came.
The red tape my Congressman, Assemblyman, my family and a law firm went through was devestating to say the least. While I was dealing with injuries, I was diagnosed with breast cancer only to later find out the benign diagnosis provided to me on AD was not correct but that I had malignant breast cancer misdiagnosed while on AD. I did not give up , and through my Congressman, Attny and Assemblyman requests went to the CAARNG, NGB, Pentagon and HRC. Eventually the LOD's and medical records I provided to the CAARNG asking to extend my orders in 2012 were used to place me on MRP2 orders in 2014. But my return to AD was brutal to say the least, and I was crucified on return to AD. I did get through IDES but I am beat up, and heart broken...after over 34 years of service that I gave my heart and soul too, was not thier for me or my family in our time of need. My heart goes out to all others in the same situation. For example in 2014 my assemblyman recievded a letter from the CAARNG noting, 1,700 CAARNG soldiers sat in the CAARNG medical bucket. Of the 1,700 only one was returned to AD and 11 were on INCAP for line of duty injuries. How many RC soldiers in that have served are in this situation......
