Why can't the Navy have a system of informing people where thier boards are? I know that the VA is done with my package and was sending it back to the PEB for decision. How long should that normally take? I was told to go to TAP and start looking for work but how can i give a potential employer a date when the Navy is sitting on my package? This is frustrating.

Just wait, remember the Navy is going through the ERB process and downsizing to a force smaller than pre WWII. I was told to expect a delay of up to 6 months to receive orders.
Ok that makes me feel better, cause i talked to my PEBLO and he said he hadn't heard anything other than i was found unfit. I called the VA a week and a half ago and they said they were sending my findings back to the PEB for concurrance or non. So i am hoping that since it took you about a month and 1/2 mine might take roughly the same time. So if you don't mind me askng 808 what were you found unfit for? And did you get retirement or severance? I have been in the Navy for 16 years so i woudl take either one at this point. I would be debt free for the severance but have medical for the rest of my life, for retirement. So even if they change it from what i found out from a VA Rep it doesnt matter to me. If all sticks to plan and they don't change it i should be 50% DOD and 80% VA. So i am happy either way. I just wish i was at 20 so i could get both and i don't know if it is worth it to try for CRSC or not. Just ready to be done and be out already.
