Hello All;
The question that I want to ask could be a complicated one; however, let me give you my end goal... I am like many others, trying to get the max for my sc conditions. I was diagnosed with epilepsy and psychogenic seizures due to a mental disorder called conversion disorder. In the NARSUM report, it states that the both seizures are not mutually exclusive, repeatedly as there is/could be a cause for the epileptic seizures. However on the 3497, Epilepsy is not listed.
When I look on the VASRD, Conversion Disorder would get its own rating and Epilepsy would get its own separate rating as well. I have since asked for an appeal. My question is this, should I be vigorously fighting this? I just don't want to get screwed out of anything. The report mentions that I am having seizures weekly, but it doesn't state how many. Should I get statements from my husband and children regarding how many?
