July 2nd 2015- started 1st Limdu period
Sep 29th 2015- submitted MEB request
Oct 12-29th C&P exams completed.
Nov 12th- signed NARSUM, package sent to DC.

As you can see I'm still kind of early in the process. Getting mixed messages from PEBLO. Keeps telling me to call back every couple of days but still no updates. I spoke with the chief that is in charge of the PEBLO department on base and he says my package just got through QA stage. PEBLO seems to be dodging me. Tells me to call back on days she is not in the office. Also one of the things that kind of bothered me, I went in to see her and she said "you look familiar".

I am awaiting fit/unfit from DC. The conditions on my claim are Anxiety Disorder NOS (according to C&P exam, verbage is 50%) with claustrophobia, agoraphobia, health anxiety, panic disorder, MDD, TBI, GERD, w/ upper endoscopy ,loss of ROM left arm after fracture, tinnitus, and hearing loss. My wife and I are getting stressed out because we have no idea when we are going to get an update. I just want to know if I'm fit or unfit. If unfit I can start looking at homes for my family and get college setup. Also have to find out how to get my dog shipped from Hawaii back to the east coast. I realize the wait is a little longer due to holidays and the snow storm on the east coast.

@Madden86 you have to understand that the PEBLO deals with a lot of packages on a daily basis so don't get to frustrated. And if your in the QA stage just sit back and relax and try not to stress over it because a lot of us on here on in the same position, but depending on your branch it may come back sooner that most.

I realize that she deals with a lot of packages. It's hard to stay positive with all the anxiety. All my negativity over the past few years has really spread to my wife. She thinks worse case scenario in every situation because what ever could have went wrong did go wrong. I keep reading about all the trouble people are having on this forum and can't help but think it's going to happen to me too.

I am definitely trying to change my outlook on things. It's just difficult to do when all you have dealt with for 10 years is failure and disappointment. I'll do my best to try to stay positive and relax. If I keep projecting positivity maybe it will take away all the negativity my wife has. Thanks for the response.

I can relate 100 percent on the Anxiety. 10 years Navy here. My PEB was accepted in DC on 15OCT15. It has since been to the VA been rated and sent back to the PEB, and is now sitting at the final QA stage. All I can suggest to you at this point in time, is to prepare for your separation as much as possible.

I have been consolidating my household goods to ensure that when I have to move my stuff out of storage, I am good to go even with my limitations. I am leaning forward on school, job market research, resume drafting, vocational counseling via chapter 36 VA benefits (well worth it in my opinion) and verifying my OMPF.

I have been attempting to prepare for any contingency, hell, I have even tried to set up my VA PCM for post separation care in order to get rolling on surgery soon as possible when I separate. Thing about that is that they can't set anything up without the orders, I digress. Even though the meds help to take SOME of the edge off, I have to keep my overly active mind busy.

Good luck and hang in there, it's only a matter of time.

Same here, 10 years in the navy. I'm definitely checking out the job market and working on my resume. It's just hard to do anything else because I don't know when I will be going home. Or if I'm going home at all. From what everyone says it sounds like they found me unfit because I'm in the QA stage, but I still have my doubts.

Good idea with the consolidating of house hold goods. My wife is planning on getting rid of a lot of stuff we don't need. She's the opposite of a hoarder lol. I definitely need to get in contact with schools back in my hometown. I have a pretty good idea of what I want to study. I will do my best to keep positive and be proactive. Thanks for the encouragement, good luck to you too!

Timeline update: feb 9th 2016: checked e benefits, indicated status changed. Called Peblo, she said that I have been found unfit. Package is at VA being rated!

Ditto!! I didn't bother the PEBLO. The unfit is implied and your case quasi-confirms it. I'm at prep for decision. How about you @Madden86?

Will do. Originally my package estimated completion date was January-June 2017. Now it says may-June 2016. I hope it's quicker than that though. I have to ship a short nose breed dog to the main land from Hawaii. They start putting restrictions in place in May for flying short nose dogs.

Received my ratings! 70% Dod 80% VA. TDRL.
congratulations I hope you are happy with your findings. Now to wait for your Official message to come in for your retirement.

yeah i was told it takes them about a month for the peblo to get them from the PEB.

I was found unfit on feb 2 and this is the first sign of life in my case. I dont know why its taking so long!

I was found unfit 12 Jan.

It was gathering evidence since around November 5 when my package was accepted by the PEB, and I found out I was unfit from my MSC on 12 Jan when it was sent to the VA, and 25 Feb the VA sent my ratings back to the PEB. I also had about 13 claims....
