VA C&P Exam: May 18th

It seems like things are moving very fast

Could anyone here inform me on what happens next?

The C&P results will get back to your Peblo, who should share them with you. Your doctors will right NARSUM addendums if necessary to clarify anything from the C&P notes, or to rebut any of their statements.

If Air Force (because I'm not sure of the other branches) your stuff will go through a QC. You'll review the package prior to its submission, and if you want to elect an impartial review you can.

So the VA office which happens to be right next to my PEBLO office will send my results to my PEBLO? Or do they have to send them to the VA at JBML?

Not sure on that one.

I know here at Scott AFB, our VA MSC (Military Services Coordinator) and our PEBLO are right next to each other in the AD Clinic.

The VA is in St Louis. As you can see from my timeline they had the report quick turned in like 4 days. It went from the VA Clinic to my MSC to my PEBLO to me.

(Army) Once your C&P exams are compiled together from QTC they will send back to your VA MSC who will give to your PEBLO. Then they will call you and schedule a sit down for you and a NARSUM doctor (could be phone call also). After you talk to the NARSUM doctor then it will get written up and your PEBLO will put it all together and then you will then go in to sign your NARSUM and off to the PEB it will go if no issues.

Ok thanks. I only had one C&P exam since I was only claiming one condition. What is QTC? and based on my timeline thus far and the fact that I am only claiming one condition do you think I could be out by August?

With the backlog the PEB is currently facing, I personally don't think that is going to happen, especially given where you are in the overall process. I would not commit to any post-military obligation or planning just yet. Just as a personal anecdote: I only have five claims and I am still waiting for ratings 7-8 months into the process. While two peblos and an ombudsman told me that it is highly unusual to wait this long, it can happen.
