Hello All,
I am posting my timeline thus far to hopefully contribute something to this community. I have had 5 MEB's and from those 3 PEB's have been generated. I am in that 3rd PEB Now. My issues are Cervical and Lumbar spine, shoulder, tmj, Depression and Fibro. 15 Surgeries in total and last full PRT in 2014. I have looked at this forum so many times over the last years as my conditions have chronically gotten worse. Posting now here as my third go round through this whole process. New this time around are the depression and fibromyalgia diagnoses.

I'm guessing you pretty much has the process down pat. What outcome do you desire? Best wishes and happy holidays. Mike

Update today I spoke with the peb office and my package is with QA at the PEB. Does anyone know if this happens for both fit and unfit packages or just unfit? They told me I would hear from my PEBLO after it leaves QA

Quality assurance goes both ways. The PEB is responsible to get the both the FIT and UNFIT decisions correct. Hope you hear an answer soon. I went through two MEBs, five RILOs, but only one PEB. I can't begin to imagine what you have been through.

thank you!! Yes it’s been crazy! Last time my request for a FOrmal peb was declined. If I am found fit again despite all these recommendations by docs and command is there another route? Can an attorney do anything?

Your service should provide an attorney, on your request. I Suggest you ask for one. Eventually, someone WILL challenge the USN, because the DoDI says the services should implement consistent processes. The USN is inconsistent with its peers. Medics have it worse than others.

There is the attorney I worked with in the ides office. Are talking about that person or actually going to the local legal support office and speaking with a JAG? They only give advice they don’t actually work on your behalf it’s rediculous

Planning to request fpeb but my request was denied last time. I find this amazing with 10 referred conditions and rec to separate from command

I have called and emailed Jason Perry several times. Any other way to get in touch?

He travels and pursues cases. It may take a week or two for him to reply. @Jason Perry

Outstanding

Geez, are your Commander’s statements for or against retention? That makes a huge difference. Unless you are really good at your job and perform well, it baffles my mind as to why you’re found ‘fit’ each time.

The comments this last time were definitely not for retention. They listed many of the issues they’ve seen as well as clearly stating No to the question in the NMA about having good potential for continued service. Yet the ipeb still said fit
