My timeline Fort Lee, va

Also been at VA for rating since the 17th of OCT

I called the VA and asked if they could send me my "proposed ratings", state that you are in the IDES process. I received my proposed ratings in the mail three working days later. I would disregard the messages on the VA website.

I guess they need more information from Richmond Va to proceed with the claim. it was at prep for decision but guess they didn't like what c&P exams said..

I suggest you begin doing research on this forum what to expect for VA ratings for your knees and back. Was it your lumbar, cervical or thoracic. Understand that the ROM is used as the primary rating. Did you receive a copy of your C&P? I received a 10% VA rating for my lower back and 30% for cervical.
Yes I do have copies of my c&p. My ROM falls in the 20% range for lumbar spine and my knees should be 10% each. This forum has taught me quite a bit and I'm very thankful for it!

With that being said, your combined DOD rating at my guess will be 40%
I'm really hoping for that. The narsum also made note that the conditions are stable and not expected to change in the next 5 years so I think that's what is needed for PDRL.

@howardrigger, is Mr. Rodriguez the supervisor of the PEBLOs? Just curious... getting really pissy lately. My narsum has been completed by a provider at Ft Stewart for 15 days now and I still haven't been called in to sign the paperwork. It was sent back for administrative changes but that was all clarified this past Monday. ARGH!!!!

It's very frustrating. But once it happens (VA is complete) it feels like a huge weight off the shoulders. Trust me, it's moving forward. Just think of every day as another step ahead in the process and one day it'll all be just a memory. Hang in there

How did you just ask the VA like that lol @warrantarng cause when I call up I have tried many different approaches. telling them I'm in ides, telling them I just moved and need them to fax my stuff to me, just asking them saying I can't get a hold of my PEBLO (all true) but they don't help. What is the magic trick to get them to tell or fax it to us?

Yes he is the supervisor I contact him when I do not hear from my peblo and I have questions that need answered.

Well have a update my packet at VA for rating just changed to Pending Decision Approval so hopefully they approve it and forward it to PEB. Still no historical claim yet hopefully in a few days. Just ready to know the answers and try to plan for future. It seems like they would have a better way to keep soldiers informed of the process. Hoping they give the proper ratings for my injuries on my claim.

Great news for you!!! Keep us updated.

I'm still waiting on my MEB proceedings... day 49 and counting...

Finally got my NARSUM and signed my DA 3947... now onto the PEB stage. Two (3?) unfitting conditions, low back and bilateral knees.

Just a little follow up I had a second claim open and closed in Historical yesterday so I messaged the VA on chat on ebeneifts and they said they sent my rating to the PEB. They would not give me the rating since it has not been 10 business days so hopefully I will hear something soon. least it is moving some still seems like it is going to be awhile. Hopefully the PEB applies rating and does not take to long just ready for some answers.

My eBenefits went from "Prep for Decision" to "Review of Evidence" yesterday. VA Chat has been worthless. They just told me they can't tell me anything while I'm still on Active Duty.

VA chat has been help to me I wonder if it is who you talk to. They have answered my questions better then my peblo has that is for sure. @andrewsve how did you get a IDES Legal appointment to get a estimated rating? Are you army?

Army. I was automatically given an appointment when I received my signed NARSUM and 3947. The attorney had already reviewed my packet. I was happy with the referred conditions. She basically said 100% with nothing to appeal. If you have an IDES legal office where you are, just call and make an appointment.

Where are you stationed?

I am stations at Fort Lee, Va. They didn't even say anything about a lawyer when I got my narsum and signed. but my PEBLO sucks big time.

I'm at Bragg. It's pretty much required here. Find out if you have a IDES legal office on your installation. If so, contact them and make an appointment.

Got my rating and signed my da 199. The crazy part is I ended up calling the PEB to find out where it was and they told me it was sent for my approval on the 17th so I went to peblo who was not in today so I talked to her supervisor. Explained to him and he showed me the rating s and I agreed to them. He even said that my peblo looked at it and didn't know why she didn't call me. I am happy for my rating now time to wait on orders. 50% DOD 100%va very pleased plus the DOD was all combat related so I will be filing for CRSC. This forum has been great.
