My Timeline - Currently Waiting on VA for Ratings

That’s what I’m assuming, I tried to see if I can download the letter but it won’t show.. same thing for you I’m guessing?
 
If you call the VA hotline they should be able to send you the letter with proposed VA rating. Then it will take about 1 to 2 weeks to get your DOD ratings and the package with all your rating percentages from your PEBLO. Then you will have around 2 weeks to accept your ratings. Once you accept it takes 2 to 6 weeks for the PEB to send your stuff to PERS. Once PERS gets it they set your separation date 65 days for active duty and 45 days for reserve out from the day they receive it. I just got my retirement date today and i signed my findings on February 2nd. PERS received my stuff from the PEB February 22 and my retirement date is set for 28 April. Hope this helps!

You sign after the PEBLO gets ratings and you concur with them. If not then you start the appeal process @PERS-95 says that you should expect 90 days but milage may vary

It most definitely did! Thank you :) Are you reserve or active? And also can I know when your claim closed? Just trying to find an estimation date of when I get out haha!

I am active duty. My claim closed on the 24th of January and i was emailed findings from PEBLO 1st February.
 
Alright totally random question for y’all. Anyone qualify for a service dog or know someone who has gone through the process? I want to start now since it takes soooo long but wondering if I should wait until I have my DD-214, that just might take a while.

No this would be a mobility/anxiety dog. I have a LOT of health problems and health related anxiety, not super independent anymore. I also have POTS pretty bad so my heart date skyrockets without me realizing.

I mean, knowing that a PCM has approved it before that shows there's no TRUE policy stating that they can't. I'm sure you have a better chance getting it from a civie doc than a military. Just like anything, if you rate it you rate it.

i'm going to lose my goddamn shit. the fucking raters at the VA say that i don't rate 30% for dizziness because theres no evidence of occasional staggering. Apparently vestibular rehab twice a week for 3 goddamn months isnt enough evidence that I stagger, along with the C&P exam saying I stagger. Apparently ER visits for physical imbalance and room-spinning isnt FUCKING STAGGERING.

VA told me that my status says pending assignment, does that mean I'm unfit and waiting on a rater?
