MY MEB/PEB

Well I have been waiting for my results from the PEB, checking everyday to see if the case has been sent back to MTF, now I log on this morning and it says PEB record not found. What the heck does this mean?

My initial response was to say that the MY MEB/PEB page on AKO is garbage, but after thinking about it for a minute I have to say that its only as good as your PEBLO who keeps it updated.

Mine tends to only get updated after I make myself into a pain in the rear to my PEBLO over a lack of information or communication then magically something will appear the next day.

As for your case file dissappearing, I would call your PEBLO and question him/her about this. They are really the only people able to answer that question for your particular case. Hopefully your PEBLO isn't as overworked as mine is.

It usually means that for whatever reason, your case was terminated. This could be something as simple as a computer error on the part of eMeb on AKO, which is what PEBLOs use to update you on the process. I would call your PEBLO immediately to see what's going on.

Hey at least u army guys have a page you can look at. The Navy believes in keeping sailors in the dark. I guess they think it's like giving us a christmas present if and when they decide to inform us.

the air force doesn't have nothing either aside from having a page that says either if your undergoing an meb or not. no real status updates nothing. what ever happened to unity

I asked my PEBLO yesterday why nothing has been updated on My MEB/PEB and she stated that this system is useless and isn't actively used by the IDES staff at Ft. Jackson.

In retrospect...

My PEBLO informed me during the initial briefing that the MyMEB/PEB self-service application is updated upon availability of information, but don't rely on it to be accurate on a daily basis.

Case-in-point...

MyMEB/PEB self-service application was lasted updated on 01/18/2013 for the MEB portion. Currently, the PEB portion is still not activated.

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

Best Wishes!
