I was in the reading room and have noticed people with docket numbers after mine already posted. Is this something to be concerned about? Docket number 2014 042xx

Also, I asked for them to consider PTSD but didn't specifically ask for a review of post concussion syndrome with migraine headaches (i was discharged at 10% for post concussion with migraines) I was later shown after I filed with pdbr that DOD criteria for post concussion with migraines is 50%. Will they automatically review it or just the ptsd that I asked them to consider?

My docket was passed up too so it isn't something to worry about. A lot of numbers are missing. They just don't process in order. Have you emailed and asked the status of your case?
 
There has been no change to your case since our last reply, it is still with the PDBR staff for review and adjudication and it will likely be several more months before there is any change.

Gosh. You must have a lot of records to review. How long did it take them to get all your records in? I hate to say this but you still have a long ways to go in the process.
 
is there a way to figure out my docket number?
 
You'll email the PDBR with your name and social security number and they will give it to you.
 
well i emailed them again and got this response.

Sir,

Your case was recently adjudicated and is currently in final PDBR processing. This processing includes an administrative review and PDBR signature, and when completed, our recommendation will be sent to the Army for their determination. Once the Army receives our recommendation and makes their determination, they will contact you via letter with their final decision. Unfortunately, we cannot discuss your case.

It has moved along. You still have a couple months left before notification (on average).
 
any idea on my initial question? If I only asked them to consider ptsd will they automatically review all the conditions I was discharged for? Or just what i asked for? Only reason I ask, Is I was shown (after I applied for review board) that criteria for discharging someone with post concussion with migraines is 50% I was discharged at 10%. Im worried they might only considered what I asked for.
 
Did you put on the paperwork to consider just consider the PTSD?

If you did they may only consider that. Whom ever helped you fill out the paperwork should have had you put "please consider all conditions". But....even if you put PTSD they may have still considered all your conditions.
 
I filled it out myself. I got paper work in the mail. When I asked service reps around here they just looked at me confused. By the time I found someone that actually knew what I was talking about I had already submitted it . I sure wish i would have found this site first. :( So what if they just decide on just what I asked for and ignore the TBI? Fed court?
 
Don't feel too bad, it has been two years for me and I am finally going to be sent up for final process. My docket was started 2014 like May or June. Hang in there. Try to keep occupied if you can otherwise it will send you batty. Or vent to us hehe. We feel your pain. :) PS. most VA reps will not know what the PDBR is or what its purpose is. I still get confused looks from my Rep when I bring it up. haha
