My Case Timeline

Congrats msann! My process from 37 to ratings was only 5 months. Shaw AFB and the Columbia VA handled my process. Retirement date is 27 Nov 2015. Ratings were 90% DoD and 100 % VA TDRL. My PEBLO was the BEST!

Thank you Warrior644. You are definitely right about that. I was in constant communication with my med tech and flight doc prior to even being notified that I would be MEBd so nothing came as a surprise. My neurologist and rheumatologist were off base of course so my awesome flight doc called them personally to get the info he needed because of course they we're unaware of how to write the report for someone potentially getting discharged from the military. I would also suggest that if you are seeing an off base provider do your research and read the reviews. There are a lot of excellent doctors and specialists and the tricare provider network but there's not so great ones too. You always have the option to call tricare and change your provider once you've been given a referral. Just call the doctor's office first and make sure that they still accept tricare and that they are accepting new patients.

That's amazing Sfsup169!!! Congratulations, the whole process can be stressful but a good PEBLO takes a lot of that anxiety away
