Most confusing week to date

This process has made me go crazy. I signed my first 199 for PDRL at the end of June. I called my Peblo every week and no update. On July 17th I get an email that they changed it to TDRL..WTF. I asked my Peblo and was like they changed it because of the mental health being unstable even though I have over 20 years Active, 60 DOD and 100 VA permanent and total. I signed it again, once again I called my Peblo weekly and nothing. I finally had it and called PDA myself on Monday and was told that nobody was assigned to my case and it had been sitting there since July 24th. Because of my phone call, I received my NLT date on Tuesday. I submitted my PTDY and leave and start clearing on 21 August. It gets good...I was given orders today and was about to finalize my 214 when I see that it says permanent. I ask the transition officer and he tells me that it is correct. I told him that my second 199 was TDRL. We immediately call PDA and they said that the Peblo sent the 199 up but with no signatures! That they needed the last 199 that they processed my stuff with the old 199. I call the assistant Peblo and he says he can't find the last one that was signed in the system..PDA needs to see it to change my status. I will raise hell tomorrow and my rant is done for now.

After 20 TOS PDRL is suppose to be the route.

I would raise nothing, but my fist in victory. PDRL is the way to go!

Believe me I would of preferred to stay PDRL because in 6 months after I retire it will revert to it anyway. The way I see it they just wants to keep tabs on the ones that get out for mental health to cover their ass. I got my status fixed today and had to call PDA 4 times to do so and they called my Peblo's boss because she would not pick up the phone after she knew she messed up.
