Minot AFB Timeline

No update on where your case is otherwise? I know my MSC was able to give me the heads up when my PEBLO office was clueless as ever. E-Benefits moving was my heads up that maybe something was moving on the VA side of things.

I called my MSC at my regional office. All he could tell me was that my package was turned over to Providence on 24 Oct 14. He told me to expect to wait 3-6 months for rating...the text book response!

I spoke with my PEBLO today and was told no change in my case. I keeping asking about the fit/unfit determination that would drive the VA to conduct my prelimary ratings for the IPEB, but all I get is no change to my case.

ou know my timeline but just for more info, beyond them breaking down my arthritis I had eight other conditions about that the va looked at, but in total with the way the arthritis was done had like 34 things in total they rated. Given that and the time it took for them to get mine back I'd say expect something sooner than what they're telling you.

My problem was that everyone had the information but didn't want to look out up or pass it on.

Here's to hoping they're idiots and you'll see an update soon :-)

Thanks for the information. Besides my psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, I had 8 other conditions. For my arthritis, the VA annotated pain and limited motion in both hands/fingers, pain in both feet, knees and wrists. I am curious to see how they rate it.

I am running into the same issue. I would just like to know what is going on. I don't ask questions until I see a change in eBenefits but I just get a response of no change or nothing yet.

Thanks again for the info and encouragement!

Well my arthritis is still in the very early stages (diagnosed in April with symptoms now for a year and I'm only 23) so my range of motion is still pretty good but the pain is the main issue. With that in mind I still got a pretty decent rating for my knees and got something for the other joints at least so if your c&p exams documented pain and if you have any rom limitations you should see decent ratings.

I was diagnosed in 2012. My range of motion is pretty decent but like yourself, the pain is the issue. The VA doctor didn't do any ROMs for my fingers, hands, feet, knees or wrist but the pain was documented and limited motion in my hands and fingers. I even mentioned to the doctor about doing the ROMs during the exam but they were only done for my back and ankle (2 of my other claims).

It is a good thing you caught it early! That will help you in the long run.

Update...call the VA and my proposed ratings were sent off to the IPEB. My MSC was able to break it down from the overall 90%. If the IPEB finds me unfit for both referred conditions, will get 80% DOD (60% psoriasis and 50% psoriatic arthritis for residuals).

Congratulations on the ratings! I hope things start to move along a bit more quickly for you at this point.

Congratulations Goldberg!!! In June I received my 70% DOD and 70% VA and I was on cloud nine! Orders should be soon my friend! I was home in August with 52 days of leave and it was well worth it! Retired September 17th

Thanks everyone. I will be glad to get my orders in hand. I have a good chunk of leave to take for terminal.

Received retirement orders today...27 Apr 15. Hoping to have my final out on 16 Jan 15 (20 days permissive/80 days terminal leave).

That would be awesome! I had 52 days and 30 days of permissive and my command denied it.. I was only able to take 42 days due to their ranting about COLA and BAH in Hawaii and how I was trying to collect it and yadayadayada. But that is awesome if they let you do that!

Luckily, I have a good CC. Also, I am selling 10 days back (that will put me at the 60 days over a career).

Congrats! that was a quick turn around for orders from reading most of the post on here.... I have been waiting on my 199 since Nov 25th! hopefully any time now! good luck!
