Have you been medically separated or retired from the military in the past year? If so, our study team at the Uniformed Services University would like to hear your transition stories!
We are interested in the Medical Evaluation Board/Physical Evaluation Board experiences from Veterans who have been recently separated from the military due to their "unfit for duty" determination.
As a participant, we will ask you to set aside about 60 to 90 minutes to share your MEB/PEB experiences with us in a recorded interview. After completing your interview, you will receive an Amazon e-gift card via email.
We are interested in the following topics:
1. Your military service experiences, including the MEB/PEB processes
2. Your reactions to receiving an “unfit for duty” determination from the PEB
3. Any transition-related stress or challenges you’ve experienced
4. Any coping strategies or resources you’ve used
5. Your plans for the future
