Medically Discharged w/o MEB

I was/am receiving 60% from the VA. When I was informed by my state NG HQ that i could pursue an MEB or waive the MEB and receive a medical discharge I opted for the discharge. At that point in time there were many family reasons I waived the MEB and took the quicker discharge route. Thinking about it now I almost wish I would have done the MEB. I was discharged in 2009. Im guessing that there's nothing I can do about it now, but is there anything I can do about it now?

I am not sure if the National Guard is different but I am assuming yes. If at time of separation you were 60% from the V.A. yes I would say you have a very good chance of getting military retired. You need to apply to the 1554 board, however when doing research most everyone on this forum talks about 1554(A) which you do not qualify for.
