Medically Boarded Question

Hello. Is there a difference in pay and benefits if you are on active duty status and are medically boarded and if you are on reserves status and medically boarded?

Read AR 635-40 Chaper 8 regarding reserves, but the rest of the AR is informative for active duty as well.
 
It depends upon what your are being medically boarded FOR.
