Medical Separation date

I got my findings and am now waiting on message traffic. My understanding is that the separation date will be on the message traffic, is that correct? When I ask HRD to of them responded and one said “You will be out by the end of the month” and the other said “60 days.” So clearly they don’t know… Does anyone know how far out the separation date is for medical separation orders/message traffic?

Yes, but if you do not receive it within 2 weeks, I would reach out to Nathaniel Trice. My original EAOS was Apr 20, message traffic kept it the same and it was about 38 days from the message traffic coming to my EAOS- but my admin didn't give it to me until two weeks later.

Do not concur. If you have not received a message within 3-4 weeks (not 2) - Have your admin shop start a ticket with MNCC with your name and last four. This will go to the disability shop. They will help you.

Nathaniel Trice no longer works in the disability shop. He’s not the one to ask for help. Recommend using official lines for this kind of thing.

And to answer the OP, DODM 1332.18 directs 75 days to allow proper out processing time plus required “administrative processes,” by which they mean househunting and the 20 days PTDY for separating. But yes, separation date is in message traffic.

Assuming that when you say “medical separation orders” you mean “TDRL/PDRL,” after you have already signed and returned your findings.

Oh man! How long ago did he leave? His signature had. the disability shop when I talked to. him about my stuff a few months back.

I'm sorry for passing wrong info!

My message took three weeks, keep hounding your admin. I would ask for a separation package and start doing that asap. Once the message is received, turn your package in so you don't have a delay on them processing it to receive orders.

He’s been gone from the disability shop for at least 2-3 years. But he talks about it like he’s still there, and it’s going to get him jammed up one of these days.

Oh man. Well, I apologize for passing wrong info. You're the first one to inform me of this, so thank you.
