Hey so I'm just getting more anxious and depressed while awaiting results;
I was referred to medboard in November
Finished all my exams in January
Sent to PEB Feburary 10th.. idk what the timeline has been looking like but I'm getting just not in a good place..I just want to get out and start my life and leave this stuff behind..

It seems like the process is never going to end but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. For most people on here including myself you’ll see that the board will make their decision a little over a month after your case is forwarded to them. Mine was sent to the PEB December 7th and I was deemed unfit January 8th. Problem is no one will tell you unless you ask. Best person to ask is the DES lawyer. In my opinion, the PEBLO is absolutely worthless once your case is forwarded to the PEB. I’ve got one more exam that got ordered last minute otherwise I probably would have signed findings by now. So, think a month for PEB decision after case is forwarded to them. If unfit it goes straight to the VA and it’s about 3 months +/- some days cause you may or may not have an extra exam ordered at the end. Anyways a, you gotta try your best to hang in there. This is a great community of people trying to do the same thing.

I had the best luck calling the VA hotline every 2 weeks or so, once you're in the "decision phase" it means VA is actively working on your claim, and you're unfit. Once the VA is working on it there won't be any updates until they are done. My best advice to you would be, get a dog and go hiking. Theres nothing you can really do to make yourself feel better about it other than just go live life a bit.
