First, a little background about my situation:
Army National Guard, 14 years. I was medevaced from Iraq and I have 2 LODs for asthma and PTSD. I am still in the Guard and I'm also a Federal Technician working in Missouri. I have been going through the MEB process since April 2009. In August 2009 I received my permanent profile with two "3's" in my PULHSS. My unit has been dragging their feet ever since. I received a 60% VA rating (Asthma and PTSD) back in May 2010. I went through a Class three physical back in Nov 2010 and was found unfit. My unit finally got their act together and sent my packet to Ft Leonard Wood in Feb 2011. I just now received word that my MEB was never started at Ft Wood and that they are sending my packet to Florida under "MEB Surge Processing". Has anyone heard of that? I don't know if this is a good thing or not, but I'm really going crazy (well, moreso than usual) over this whole situation. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
