Hello everyone, I have 12 years of service (10 AD, currently in AF Reserve). I was applying for transfer to another base when the gaining medical unit said that I am not medically cleared for assignment. They told me my plantar fasciitis would require an IRILO according to the MSD and that it would need to be sent to HQ for a retention waiver. I was diagnosed while on AD and have already been rated at 50% for that condition. I have not been on a continuous profile because I only report for duty one weekend a month and don’t feel the need for one. But I do receive a profile every 6 months for my PT test exemption (no walk/run). I am also capable of wearing my boots with inserts. Since I have already been rated, is it likely that I will get a retention waiver or be submitted for MEB?
