I have a few questions. I have been diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder, Recurrent moderate by the QTC doctor and my Psychiatrist. I am confused about how the MEB said the Army will rate me for Depressive disorder NOS even though the QTC Psych doc said the correct diagnosis is MDD rather than Depression NOS. What is the difference between MDD and depression NOS? Will this hurt or help my case? I am just curious if the PEB will see the QTC doctor’s statement with the correct diagnosis.

The following conditions/defects that will be rated on the Army side. Where can I locate the VSARD codes for these items and will the feet conditions below be combined for one rating?

Depressive disorder NOS
Left foot pes planus and calcaneal spur
Right ankle posterior tibial tendon reconstruction with scars
Right foot posterior tibial tendon reconstruction with scars
Status of post right foot bunionectomy with scar
Tension headaches
Right patellar tendonitis

Jason if you don't mind can you look over my post and provide your thoughts or opinion.

You can find the codes in the VASRD links on this site, or use PtDraco's link (that is actually what I use to check all non-schedular VA regulations).

Looks to me that the " posterior tibial tendon reconstruction " issues would only be rated once. Other issues appear to be different disabilities and different anatomy, so may well be rated as separate conditions (assuming unfitness). Also, remember "amputation" rule...it essentially says you can't get more for a body part than you would if it were amputated.
