Evening everyone,

I've been lurking here for a couple of weeks now and just wanted to post my timeline in order to see if anyone else had a similar timeline and to keep up with those individuals as we go through this MEB journey.

Referred to MEB - November 12, 2023

Met with PEBLO - November 13, 2023

Legal, VA MSC, and VA Appointments - December to January

NARSUM received - February 7, 2024

NARSUM signed and returned to PEBLO - February 12, 2024

Forwarded to PEB and accepted by PEB - February 12, 2024

I know that I'm only roughly 10 days into the PEB phase but like I said, I'm hoping that there is someone out there with a similar timeline that I can connect with and keep in touch with to make this process a little less painstaking.

Best of luck to all of you out there still going through your MEB/PEB journey.

I was referred November 18, 2023 and I am on Quantico. My case is about to be submitted to the PEB, most likely next week. I feel the holidays had really delayed my exams and =I had to do some fighting since Optum was cancelling appointments on me. We can definitely keep in touch!

Surprisingly, the holidays didn't really have an affect on my appointments (I was with QTC) and they only rescheduled me for one appointment which happened to be my last and resulted in a delay of 3 weeks but whatever.

Is your case being processed through the Naval Health Clinic on Quantico or up at Fort Belvoir? My MH providers are at Belvoir so I was referred from there.

I had to wait until after the holidays to start my exams and on my way to Richmond they called to say the audio equipment broke, scheduling my next for more than a month away. Had to call, get a supervisor, plead my case, and I got seen three days later in Fredericksburg.

I am being processed at the Naval Health Clinic on Quantico. Also by MH providers. Quantico is notoriously slow and I know most try to get theirs on Belvoir since it is faster.

Dude, that's awful.

My only experiences are with Fort Belvoir but they do seem much faster in their overall MEB/PEB processing. Hoping that things speed up for you following submission to the PEB!

I appreciate it! This whole process has been very stressful on me, to the point I often regret going on the board. Especially since I will most likely need to do a medical extension to finish the board.

Do you know when the VA went into decision phase for your case? I bet the VA timelines for us are more similar than the PEB for the bases.

Nothing from the VA yet.

I keep checking the VA app like a tweaker hoping that I'll see my case closed but nothing yet.

Is there any other way to know when they go into the decision phase?

Can you see your information on the VA app or VA.gov? I see nothing on mine.

To know I was in the decision phase, I called the VA and asked where my case was. They also said they cannot give timelines or estimates on when it will be out of decision phase.

Nothing on either.

I may just give them a call tomorrow and see where my case is at.

How many conditions did you claim? I claimed about 26 and it is my understanding the more you claim, the longer the decision phase will take.
We can keep track of each other's cases and get a decent understanding of where we are. I am hoping to be out by July.

I think my final form had 19 conditions on it.

Definitely! Hoping to be out in June/July myself!

It is crazy how our timelines and referred conditions are so similar!

Here is the VA number Optum gave me I used to get the decision phase information: 1(800)827-1000
Hope it helps and makes your life a little easier tomorrow.

DES Attorney and I came to the agreement of submitting a rebuttal for adding referred conditions. Probably delays me a couple weeks but I think it will be better for the final decision.
