Hello all I'm sure you have all seen so many of these types of posts so I appreciate you taking to time to look At my case. Please bare with my grammar as I'm writing this post on my phone.
I'm currently going through a MEB and my final VA medical appointment is this week. I am currently flagged and on the Army body fat composition program. Since my last weigh in I've gained some weight on the program due to my strict profile and when I try to do anything even close to not being on my profile I will be in extreme pain. My commander is currently changing her mind every other week from verbally telling me she will not Perdue any form of chapter or separation due to my weight because they recognize that I have never done anything wrong previously and would pass and exceed the standard on PT tests and would never bust tape prior to my injures. I am almost being verbally shamed by my NCOIC in my section for having to take so much time out of work to attend my VA and MEB appointments and I feel as though I'm not physically safe in the unit due to the constant back and forth between the commander wanting to allow me to stay in and work on my MEB and wanting to chapter me, and my NCOIC frequently viewing my current situation as a hassle for her to deal with with all her talk for me to "do what I have to do" to lose weight referencing extreme measures be taken as to eating very minimally. I really do want to lose weight I'm not very happy with myself at my current weight but I do not want to resort to extreme measures that would harm me in the long run.
I tried to ask my PCM to see if I would be able to be transferred to WTU but he said my case wouldn't be a good fit over there.
Any help? Advice? I just don't want to be separated on anything negitive with me being a Stright A soldier.
Thank you very much for your time.
