Good Evening Everyone,

Wanted to see if anyone is receiving max CRSC and if the compensation for family members is on top of that number or integrated to not cap the maximum payment?

According to 38 US Code, statute 1114, the 100% amount is $2,673

For additional family members it would be another $259 plus $75 for each kid. Just wanted to make sure the math is right

If you're capped due to Length of Service (LOS), then you will not get higher than the stated amount, regardless if you have dependents or not. It does help if you are below that amount, however.

Estimate.
a. 4015/75% = 5353.33 average high three
b. Retired pay reduced to zero by VA amount
c. 18.083 AD x 2.5% = 45.21% longevity multiplier
d. 5353.33 x 45.21% = 2420.24 longevity portion of retired pay, a CRSC ceiling that is less than 100% rate.
e. CRSC based on your info = 2420.24
