I guess I'm doing this because this website has been helpful, and am looking for some solidarity with anyone from Hawaii, or a similar timeline.
Background: April 16, 2014 - Tore my ACL/Meniscus (Right) at MOS school. Senior enlisted advisor made me run on it and do MCMAP. Worst pain of my life. Was sent to my current duty station where I had FOUR failed knee surgeries at Tripler Army Medical Center. All of them my right knee.
1st surgery - Oct. 20 2014 (ACL/meniscus allograft) right knee
After this, my knee was still very unstable. Not torn, but thought to be loose.
2nd surgery - April 20, 2015 (ACL revision allograft) right knee
My surgeon PCS's and am assigned a new one. He tells me the first surgeon basically messed the first two up and drilled a hole (tunnel) that was too big. My ACL was not secured.
3rd surgery - Oct. 20, 2015 (Bone graft. Also took ACL out of my leg.) right knee
After they thought the bone graft healed, it was time to put an ACL back in my leg.
4th Surgery - Feb. 2, 2016(ACL hamstring graft) right knee
The fourth surgery failed, and my knee, still, is in much pain and is very unstable. My ROM is not terrible, I believe 0-125.
So obviously this was my referring condition. Because of my knee, limping for years and stress, these are also affected: scarring, loss of feeling in calf, lower back, my hip, my ankle, my other knee, anxiety, depression and tinnitus.
