Has anyone been through a MEB for SLE? I've had my VA appointments, and everything was sent to AFPC late last month(I'm in the Air Force). Does anyone know what sort of timeline to expect from now, and what kind of ratings to expect.

HI SLE starts off at 10% then 60% and 100%. And everything depends on your doctor turning in your paperwork proving you have SLE.

I'm getting med boarded for lupus too and other related issues. I've been in the med board since August 2015 but I hope yours doesn't take that long. It's hard. I hope your symptoms aren't too bad. I'm here if you want to chat. There aren't many of us with lupus

Good evening margarita4x8, just wondering if you are still being med boarded, I too was diagnosed with SLE last year. Is has been a beast for me, my symptoms are still active and having flares weekly. I'm being med boarded through the Army my records are currently at the VA

Hello SFC Chavis. Yes, I am still being med boarded. Unfortunately my med board has been a really long process. Hang in there and good luck.

yes, my Army MEB for my SLE rating back in 2004 was 60% TDRL.
