I hope this is the proper forum for posting this.
I'm a bit scared at my outcome in this process. I just started the PEBLO and I'm not sure what my outcome will be.
I am an AGR with 23 years of service, but from what I figure I am only going to be at 19 years Active duty. What I'm trying to figure out is on my points rip under AD it will come up to 19 years but under the retire points I will be short by 30 days of 20 years. Does the retire points have a factor in this process? I still have to go to the VA to work on my rating which can be difficult also because my disqualifier is an angle issue so getting to 30% is going to difficult. I have another key qualifier but they won't include it because it wasn't originally filed with it from medical. If I come in under the 30% I plan on disputing it to add in the other just qualifier which is my back.
I can't help but feel that I'm being penalized because I got injured on the job and going to lose out on my pension and now I'm at the mercy of the VA process which will be less than what I hoped for.
