Hoping someone has contact information for the Navy re: severance pay taxes. I received my severance pay in July and submitted the required paperwork to DFAS to get my refund in the same year vs. waiting for my 2020 tax return. DFAS response was that they forwarded it to the "Navy POC". I submitted two follow-up tickets asking WHO the Navy POC/organization is, and just keep getting the canned response "Your inquiry cannot be answered by the Debt & Claims Management representatives. Therefore, your inquiry was emailed to the appropriate office within the organization."
This same back-and-forth has occurred twice. I just want a phone number or name of the office/organization to contact, specific to the Navy.
