I am a Air National Guardsman currently receiving benefits and treatment form the VA. My Medical Sq. wants to put me in for an MEB, but does not have anything to give to the VA to make the request for opinions. Anyone ever heard of the VA providing letters for supporting documentation for an MEB, and if so will they do it? I'm already being seen by the VA for the conditions of anxiety and depression, Planters Factitious (Bilateral) requiring joint fusions in each foot, Sleep Apnea, and connected spinal and nerve issues. I'm currently 90% service connected disabled, and need an unfit to be retired. This should have been done a year ago when I was an active guard reservist (AGR), but due to command influence on medical I kept being found fit for duty by National Guard Bureau. this time we want this to proceed past that roadblock (with statements and documentation that states the opposite of the impact statement). Thank you in advance.
