Here is my timeline so far. I chose LDES to try and get through the process as fast as possible to start school in the fall. I have 1 referred condition for Bipolar II. PEBLO said that I should hear back in 90 days but I'm hoping I get through the PEB faster than that. I'm working separately through the VSO to submit my VA claim.

11/30/23-NARSUM Submitted
12/05/23-Briefing with PEBLO
12/07/23-LDES Election Signed
12/12/23-LDES Endorsed by CO
12/18/23- PEBLO Called to tell me that I am required to do a physical as part of my MEB Package

I called the PEB # and asked when my package was received. I probably should have asked if he knew my number in the que, but I forgot.

Got an unexpected call today from PEBLO. My findings came in!

Yeah that's why I was shocked when the PEBLO called me. I called the PEB Hotline on Monday and all they could tell me was that they received my package but he said "we only received your package a couple weeks ago so call back next month".
 
I can only imagine the PEB is the same for IDES and LDES with the added VA portion of IDES. Now you got me wondering if I should expect something soon. VA ratings sent to PEB on 22 Jan.
 
I would assume so but my PEBLO has been zero help. He said he has never done LDES so he really was not giving me any info. All he said was that there isn't a special que for LDES vs IDES and that the only difference in time I would see is not waiting on VA ratings and the QA phase. But looking at everyone else's timelines I have not seen one that went as fast as mine.
 
I'll believe it when I sign and accept my findings on Tuesday morning.

Unfortunately, IDES is far slower. My PEB was accepted on November 20th, VA proposed ratings December 3rd, and now still waiting for findings.

Exactly, I can't progress in my military career, so I just feel stuck. I want to move on, but it is even worse with no way to track anything and just waiting every day for a phone call that never comes. The process is way too slow.
 
There was not much on here for LDES which I why I’m trying to add as much detail so people can get an idea of timelines.

Just speculation on my part but I think the driving factor for my rating was my statement. The NARSUM was vague and my CO NMA just stated they concurred with medical assessment so there really wasn’t much from those to get me above 30% in my opinion. So I would make sure that if you are going LDES to put effort into your statement and have legal look it over.

Question, where or who did you get your separation message and orders from? Is there a task or anything to complete in order to get these after signing for findings or do they populate on your MOL? Did you have to complete a separation pkg? Also could you request a sooner EAS for sep? Thank you.
 
Nice! Congrats. submitted to the PEB 06FEB2024 and I still haven’t received fit/unfit findings. The wait continues.
