Once the IPEB passes the packet to the VA for ratings, does that mean you are seen as unfit for duty? I see that after the VA gives ratings, it goes back to the PEB Findings.....

I just hit a month yesterday of waiting on the VA for percentages and it is the worst. The MEB tracker stopped being accurate on my C&P step. Its useless now.
Man its frustrating but once the ratings come back it looks like everything else goes smoothly! Yeah my IDES MEB dashboard says I'm at the VA Ratings and the next step is PEBLO Counseling. The other day, the next step was PEB findings. Weird!
I really hope it does. I am excited to start the civilian life.

Just got my ratings yesterday! I was found unfit March 6th. Sooooo 3 months. My PEBLO says it shouldn't be much longer
My rating were completed on April 14th (Friday) and my PEBLO told me my VA ratings that following Monday morning. It took 17 days after the PEB found me unfit and sent my packet. Then another 11 days to get my DA 199 from the PEB.
To the OP, I don't think it is certain that forwarding to VA for rating = unfit. Even if you are fit for duty, you'll still end up with a rating for your proposed unfitting conditions. I know of many in the service that have disability ratings. It has to be forwarded to VA because they are the ones that do the ratings under the integrated system.
