Hello everyone. I have a question regarding an IRILO. To start I had a spinal fusion L4-L5 back in the 2015 time frame. I was seeing physical therapy after and all was good except for some pain that was easily manageable with streaching and PT profiles for no running..all other components I could do to include the walk. I had gotten an assignment to Osan in 2017 and my medical clearance went thru without any trouble. I spent 2 years at Osan doing all of my primary AFSC duties on the flight line with no issues. I PCSd out to my follow on in the states and hace been here for almost 2 years and just got aother assignment to Osan again..which im very excited for btw. I went to my PCM asking for a profile for no running for the last PT test that was scheduled then cancelled due to Covid. Instead of no running he put no components and non deployable code 31 i believe (light) expiring 4 April then said I need an IRILO.
Why is it after all of these years they now say I need an IRILO? Would this effect my medical clearance for a DEROS of Dec 2021? I explained that i can and have been doing my primary dutys with no problems, I do not take pain killers and I do not require a specialist annualy and i never miss work. To be honest all of this is stressing me out. It just annoys me that he said this a month ago and still hasnt done anything with it.
