Your timeline is incredibly fast! My MEB started in Jan and finished my exams on the 25th of April but still haven’t received the 618.

I called today and it looks the VA has mine, but doesn't have proposed ratings. Hopefully the process keeps moving quickly during the stage!

I extended my contract to do this MEB so I am very thankful it's been fairly quick so far. I am absolutely ready to get out and move on with my life. Hoping yours picks up the pace soon!

I'm starting to stress a little because everyone on here seems to have moved from the DAF 618 to the 1180 in about exactly a month. My month mark was two days ago and now we're going into a long weekend. Every time I call the VA they just say I'm "in the decision phase."

If it makes you feel any better, our PEB timeline is nearly identical and I’m waiting as well.

Same here. All of us are stressed don’t worry . No movement on the VA app. Just waiting waiting

I signed my 618 in my PEB timeline about 2 weeks prior to you and I’m still waiting. Although I just talked to someone who told me it was assigned to a team today.

I have almost the same timeline as you and haven't heard much either til this week.

My package went up to the PEB on May 9th. I called my MSC this Tuesday and was told my claim was assigned to a rater on June 16th due to the PEB not finding me unfit til sometime last week.

I recommend calling your MSC and seeing what they say.

I also need to build out and post my timeline here as well, just to help those in the same situation as us.

If it makes you feel better, I turned in my SHA and did my initial briefing 26 Mar 25 and I still haven't been contacted by the VA lol

I contacted my MSC just to be told she was the wrong person to contact and it would be a question for my PEBLO.

Yup. Same here. Contacted her and said “I don’t know the answer you need to contact your peblo.”

Then I contact my peblo and they say they have no way of tracking the progress. Bunch of useless people

I am submitting my timeline tonight but my MSC and PELBO have been great and answered my questions to the greatest extent possible. There are some things they obviously cannot see though.

Did the VA stop working in the month of June? I swear every timeline I see that is within days/weeks of mine have been at a standstill. And it's so frustrating that we cannot truly get any updates on progress during the IPED.

The VA has been super backed up. My PEBLO said that they just started on May cases. They apparently had a conference call with them.

I just logged in to the VA app and saw it said, "We decided your claim on July 05, 2025... What you've claimed: proposed bel (New).

I am hoping the PEB reviews that ASAP!!! Finally some movement!

So, I called the VA three times this morning and have gotten different answers every single time. Can anyone help me better understand what is going on?

First guy said the proposal was completed July 01
Second woman said the claim was completed July 07 but cannot be shared with me until the PEB reviews it
App says they decided my claim on July 05

I ran into this issue when asking the VA to email me my estimated BEL. The letter has a date attached to it and cannot be released until after that date. From my timeline, I received the results from my PEBLO same day.. but I also showed up at their office and started asking questions so your milage may very.

At least your case is finally moving forward! Now the next step will be deciding if you agree with the ratings, or if you pursue a FPEB or VARR. In the email from the PEBLO you should get the contact information for the ODC. The good news is there are timelines built into the process. Once you receive your ratings you have 6 days to elect to accept the 365, or submit for a FPEB if you don't agree with your ratings. After that a hearing will be scheduled 14 days out, which gives you time to gather evidence to proceed with the board or pursue the VARR (You feel you meet a higher rating for your condition) through the VA. If you have any questions reach out!

That's the AF process so it may be different for Space Force.

Waiting to hear back from ODC, however, any advice on TDRL?

Obviously my goal was permanent retirement but I also got a 70% rating from the VA on my condition. Do you think it's worth fighting for permanent retirement or is it likely that'll come later when they reevaluate me?

File a VARR, but remember it’s only for the conditions that are found unfitting. So you can get a higher VA rating with a VARR, if you really think that your symptoms and evidence can align with a higher rating, but know it can’t be just for any condition. From what I understand if you go to the formal board, this is more so contesting your DOD rating.
