Currently being medboarded for Fibromyalgia. I also got a long COVID diagnosis and a chronic fatigue diagnosis right after and everyone involved in the MEB are acting as if none of it happened or affected me. I was diagnosed much faster than being able to get treated for. My NARSUM came back and said that I’m unfit for duty but that all other claimed conditions meet the Army medical standards due to the fact that I have no open profiles for any of them. (Even though I have had several profiles 100+ days within the last 6 months) I wasn’t aware I needed constant profiles of everything and now I have 7 days to try and scramble for doctors to put profiles back on or update my current one. Fortunately I have two very important appointments next week that most likely won’t have a problem inputting profiles (Internal Medicine and Pain Management) The Impartial Medical Review came back saying that my current medboard profile states that I can do the APFT events but below says everything at own pace, do not run over a mile or lift more than 5 lbs and eventually work my way up in tolerance. I feel like the Rheumatologist that wrote my profile wrote it in a way to trigger the MEB but essentially also fucked me over. Everything written in the profile goes against ME/CFS treatment.
If I get my current MEB profile updated with active profiles (which I technically qualify for) how could that potentially affect my rebuttal/outcome.
Legal has been of no help and just wants me to sign everything, says that I “most likely will get 30-40% DoD, my PEBLO said trust legal, the OMSC won’t respond to any of my emails. This has been one of the hardest fights and I keep getting knocked back. I have till Dec 30th to write a rebuttal and don’t even know how or what I need to do. I really need tricare to help manage everything I’m going through. Wtf do I do
